Job Location: Shanghai
This is a famous local distributor in sports ware industry. It expends aggressively in China and now is preparing IPO in HK.
Key Responsibilities:
• accounting and reporting (60%)
o lead the booking of transactions in accordance to IFRS and corporate policies
o manage and ensure accurate and timely monthly close and financial reporting
o drive an efficient and effective financial reporting process that provides transparency and visibility to each legal entity, business unit, brand, territory, category and store level
o review and analyze monthly financial reports to ensure accurate financial information is reported to management and support effective business performance review process
o ensure the balance sheet accounts are duly supported by documents and transaction details
o follow up accounts to keep them current and drive cash conversion
o manage external audit process and provide all the supporting schedules in a timely manner
• governance and performance management (30%)
o support Financial Controller on development of corporate policies and procedures to ensure strong control environment throughout the various business organizations
o make appropriate recommendations to drive cost control, enhance system capabilities and overall process flow
• people management and leadership (10%)
o build a strong accounting team with high-level of accounting and internal control proficiency
o provide guidance of processes and procedures, to ensure financial control through out all areas
Key Requirements:
• bachelor’s degree, major in Accounting, MBA is preferred
• fluent in Mandarin and English
• minimum five years’ working experience in accounting and audit with a good understanding of the ERP accounting systems
• experience of team management is preferred
• possess qualification of CPA or ACCA
• possess hands on experience and direct operation of ERP systems, preferably SAP
