About the Organisation:
This is a tier-one European bank with more than 50 years’ history in China and a growing presence in Asia. This role will ensure compliance of management manual, operating manuals and knowledge of the various products offered by all departments. You will also be required to keep up-to-date on the events in the financial industry, participate actively in training programs, meetings and briefings organized by the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
• deliver allocated performance targets for various product VCs
• maintain relationship with customers and deliver propositions to ensure customers’ needs are met
• provide financial planning advice to customer by delivering proper asset allocation, suitability assessment and other available tools to meet customers’ needs
• maximize customer profitability through disciplined relationship management and cross-selling
• actively participate in other banks’ marketing and promotional activities to acquire NTB customers, as well as cross-selling to existing customers
• comply with respective Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, and should report any suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager as well as directly to the Country MLPO in urgent or exceptional circumstances
Key Requirements:
• university graduate with sales experience gained in the banking and financial services industry or other industries
• sound knowledge of bank products and services, banking procedures, equities markets, unit trusts and other personal investment services are preferred
• good investment counseling and analytical skills
• strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of people in complex and difficult situations
• team player who shows initiative and assertiveness as well as a self-motivator who is keen to improve personal knowledge and skills to meet job requirements
• good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin
