LIFERAY PORTAL SYSTEMS ARCHITECT
This is an international company providing integrated network and IT solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• architecture, design and implementation of applications for enterprise applications and services with liferay technology
• follow the company process and standard to complete the entire software development lifecycle
• ensure the quality while the development progresses and in the final delivery
• work closely with bid team and other departments for proposals and the project pursing phase
• act as technical interface to internal and external customers
• be the delivery interface to sales and business consultants development departments
Key Requirements:
• at least seven years of hands on development and design experience in a J2EE enterprise systems.
• skilled in J2SE, J2EE, SSH, EJB3 and open source projects
• demonstrated experience in liferay portal development and related technologies
• knowledge in other portal products (e.g. websphere, sharepoint)
• knowledge in other liferay solutions such as liferay CMS and liferay collaboration groupware components is a plus
• demonstrated knowledge in software development methodologies
• experience in answering to technical sections of requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposals (RFP)
• experience in working with subcontractors & offsite development staff is highly desired
• experience in offshore development work is a plus
• experience in leading an implementation team is a plus
• bachelor or master degree in computer science or in an engineering discipline
• background in automotive industry projects is desired
• strong written, verbal and presentational skills
• fluent spoken and written English
• willingness to travel
