SOLUTION CONSULTANT (NETWORK AND DATA CENTER INFRASTRUCTURE)

Job Responsibilities:
provide pre-sales support to customers with generally the most complex requirements in this specialized area
transfer customers requirements into a solution based on company services, and own either the overall or specialist technical design from concept to subsequent implementation
actively participate in the tendering process and development of proposals in line with customer needs, liaising and qualifying with other colleagues as necessary
develop solution architecture and estimations
present technical solutions to customers both formally and informally as required
deliver billable specialist consulting work to a client, including one-time or recurring assessment, low-level design documentation and specification, staging, proof-of-concept, performance reporting and optimisation recommendations
stay abreast of key industry technical and business issues, options and advancements relevant to this area of specialization
Key Requirements:
bachelor degree in IT/Telecommunications Engineering or Equivalent
more than five years experience in IT-Networking industry, including three years in a pre-sales or delivery consulting position from a global network company or IT company
Cisco CCNP & CCDP or CCIE certification preferred; VCP, VCAP, VCDX, MCSE or PMP qualification will be a plus
proven experience with Cisco Network projects; other project experience in Nortel, Juniper, Checkpoint, authentication systems (e.g. RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory), Network Management systems is a plus
oral and written fluency in both English and Mandarin
