Trademark-focused legal counsel for a leading vehicle aftermarket company
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve trademark registry and prosecution matters as well as optimize trademark portfolio strategies
- Lead trademark and brand protection strategy and action, including trademark searches, clearances, oppositions, cancellations, invalidations, etc.
- Cooperate with outside counsel on trademark filing, prosecution and enforcement of APAC
- Negotiate, draft, and review licensing, co-existence and other trademark related agreements with customers, suppliers, service providers and third parties
- Take charge of the litigation, arbitration and disputes of legal matters
- Provide legal review and advice on trademark contract related issues
- Support Trademark issues in M&A assessments and negotiations
Key Requirements:
- 5-10 years of trademark relevant working experience
- Familiar with trademark law, advertising law, product quality law and anti-competition law in China
- PRC bar preferred
- Excellent oral and written English
