This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic growth of a consulting business in the CRM and data science segments.
- Lead the sales, marketing and client management functions for the business in China
- Work with the APAC and China Leadership team to help build the annual strategic plan with specific goals, strategies, target audience, tactics and measurement for positioning the company in the market
- Drive growth through new client acquisition, organic growth, acquisition synergy, and leveraging channel partners and platforms
- Work closely with the APAC regional sales leadership to drive M&A targets
- Partner with the leadership to leverage resources to strengthen the marketing capabilities, brand awareness, and product offerings of Merkle China
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline to facilitate growth and keep momentum
- Reorganize and restructure the team where necessary to maximize its efficiency and effectiveness
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in technical solution sales and digital marketing or ecommerce senior management role
- Proven track record of delivering a sizable annual revenue and achieving significant growth for companies
- Strong business acumen and deep market knowledge of China and APAC, good understanding of data and analytics industry as well as digital marketing ecosystem in China
- A proven team leader at scale for a large, established MNC and/or Chinese conglomerate, with C-level connections in China. Experience with BAT will be a plus
- Excellent team management experience, and a respected and visionary leader with the ability to look from a macro, big picture perspective and yet staying grounded
- Strong solution sales skills, proficient experience with lead generation, solid expertise in vertical market solution offerings, and deep understanding of building and executing marketing strategies
- Passion about the big data sector, and believes in the power and future of people-based marketing via dana and analytics
