The Senior HR & Admin Manager assists to develop and implement the HR & Admin strategy for the manufacturing facilities in Dongguan, Guangzhou. In alignment with business development and operation needs, the incumbent executes its people strategy, corporate branding, manpower planning, recruitment and selection, staff cost budgeting, compensation and benefit, training and development, succession planning, HR operations and services, record management, employee relations, tax and labor issues as and when required. The incumbent also oversees the admin function to cater for the day-to-day operations in alignment with the business operations and development, especially in fulfillment of clients’ audit requirement as well as legal legislations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes and implements effective HR & Admin policies and processes, which comply with the challenges of the business
- Drives the key HR processes in the business: staffing, performance management, headcount and staff cost control, reward and recognition, employee development
- Manages attendance and payroll, in collaboration with IT and Finance, to ensure accuracy and timely release
- Supports the implementation of change management processes in the business as well as leading major HR change initiatives
- Works with functional managers to identify, retain key and high potential employees, and to carry out development that aligned with succession planning process
- Drives the successful recruitment and selection of great caliber
- Manages the turnover of labor in collaboration with labor dispatching companies to achieve compliance, sufficient and timely supply and cost control
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in Thailand as well as Corporate Social Responsibility requirements of our clients
- Manages record management and personal data in an organized manner and in compliance with legal requirements
- Manages tax and labor disputes issues as and when needed
- Expatriates management including work permit, accommodation, etc.
- Work closely with all divisional heads to ensure smooth running of operations and production, to cater for our clients’ requirement, to ensure environment, health and safety are compliant to standards in collaboration with EHS and Operations Division
- Drives motivation, employee engagement, participation in recreational activities and company events, with end result to achieve great result on employee satisfaction
- Effectively manages vendors selection and performance to achieve both quality and cost control
- Consults and coaches employees on their career development, employee issues and sustainability
- Encourages employee engagement, supporting growth and development of people in the business
