Business Solution Manager
Direct Reporting Line: Senior Manager Business Solution
Location: Shanghai
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Manage projects/change requests by playing leading role in the full cycle, including prioritising, project proposals preparation, effort estimation, technical spec creation, development/testing management, performance tuning, implementation and providing training to key users
- System and Processes:
- Play as solution architect for next generation DW, manage architect team of ETL, DWH and provide reporting expertise
- Work with business process owners to analysis business requirements and translate them into system requirements in related business areas (Franchise Operation, Own Retail, Finance, HR etc.)
- Responsible for system realisation, develop functional specification, prepare user testing case, perform integration testing, prepare user training materials and deliver end user training
- Coordinate with end users and project team to ensure opportune and quality delivery
- Provide post-live application support including incident trouble shooting, issue resolution and coordination of change requests and enhancement with business
- Prepare engagement deliverable, proposals or other documentation as required
Key Requirements:
- University degree in Computer science or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of retail business is preferred
- Below IT knowledge is preferred:
- Security Assessment
- Integration knowledge including ETL, ESB etc.
- Big data technology (Hadoop, Spark, Impala)
- R language, Python
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- At least 5 year’s IT project management experience in Multi-national Corporation with 3+ year of data analyst or BI architect
- Strong knowledge of and experience with BI technologies (SAP BW, SAP HANA, Microstrategy, MS SQL Server)
- Proven experience on coordination with internal and external resources for data analysis and BI solution development
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
