This candidate should be responsible for daily sales affairs and relevant team management works.
generating new business:
- identifying new customers for company products
- understanding of the elements going into a sourcing decision from the customer
- understanding the customer team that stay behind a decision
- financial analyses , program costing and quoting (supported by the technical area)
- understanding of the cost side of a product and the ability to handle explaining product costing to an experienced customer base
- performing the actual quoting and following up with the customer
customer account management:
- uncovering new business opportunities
- scheduling and attending meetings and phone and e-mail follow-up with customers to keep pace with all customer product development or engineering activities that could lead to product opportunities for company
- handling customer complaints and requests, at any level from customer service to purchasing to executive management
- collecting pertinent market data / information to be used in accurate sales forecasting
- responsible for the sales numbers for his / her own product line
An ideal candidate should have good sales experience and team management skills. Fluent English is a must.
- university degree or above, major in biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical or medical related discipline
- more than five years’ working experience on disposable medical class iii or filtration field
- good selling skills and selling channels, having distributor's management experiences, excellent communication skills, hard working and able to travel frequently
- experiences in selling through dealers to blood centres and hospitals
- proven experience in generating new business
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- ability to handle many activities at any time
- detail oriented person a necessity
- ability to work well in a complex organisation to get answers and information needed by customers
- experience forecasting and budgeting sales
