Project Operation Manager

A leader in cutting-edge technology, which is poised to take strong leadership in a fragmented market needs a Project Operation Manager for building up the new plant. Following commissioning of the project, will transition to full-time Operations Manager for the future site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for investment projects, technology transfer, commissioning of plants, and start-up of production for Precious Metals Business in China. Supports feasibility studies of investment projects and manages technology transfer from existing sites within the Precious Metals Business global network, or from external vendors/suppliers
• Responsible for developing and executing detailed project execution plans working with global and regional technical personnel

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in operations, engineering, R&D or technology field
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex projects involving technical and commercial aspects; knowledge of project management processes and project execution best practices
• Technical: Ability to manage opportunity and risk at the interface of technical and business topics; understand and communicate implications of one on the other
