Project Engineering Manager

A leader in cutting-edge technology, which is poised to take strong leadership in a fragmented market needs a Project Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute feasibility studies and prepare conceptual designs which provide input for the decision making process of the project owner to take the project to the next phase
• Make inventories, study and advice on possible investment projects with regard to modifications of new or existing production installations and equipment, to facilitate balanced decision making on further development of projects
• Compose a process design in cooperation with the project team, owner technology group and other stakeholders to provide the scope for an investment estimate
• Give estimate input to support economic evaluation of the project
• Manage the project interfaces with all parties involved including internal and external communication and transfer of relevant project data according to a communication plan
• Be responsible for and has to sign for commitments, which have to be within the agreed and approved budget, scope and timeline of the project and in compliance with the Authorization procedure of the involved Business Group
• Executes the role of Project Manager in the Manufacturing Excellence work process on Large Capital Projects (ME-8) and Small Capital Projects

Key Requirements:

• Over 10 years of proven experience in engineering preferably in chemical, pharma or food industry environment
• Strong chemical process engineering background is preferred
• Fluent English in written and oral
• Can accept frequent business travel
