Packaging Innovation Development Manager

A leader in cutting-edge technology, which is poised to take strong leadership in a fragmented market needs a Innovation Development Manager in the new phase of the company’s development in Asia located in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop the potential white space, cross-segment innovation concepts by working with internal partners and suppliers, customers, academic institutes and startups
• Work with global partners and internal function heads to manage the projects by coordinating timelines, conducting business case analysis, tracking end-to-end activities and milestones, and ensure project is progressing as planned
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meeting, regular project meetings, risk assessments, post launch reviews and additional meetings or workshops as required
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
• Provide transparency, documentation and communication of project status and risk to cross functional team members
• Work with IP Global Committee and local law firms to ensure local/regional IP strategies are well defined and executed
• Leverage own functional expertise and network to steer project team towards best solution definition and execution
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

• Solid cross-functional experience gained through participation in Innovation projects, or through mission/assignment in various organizations
• Be familiar with regulation and registration of medical devices is a plus
• Be familiar with running/managing the routine of customer/consumer experience center is a plus
• Has successfully shown leadership skills within a cross-functional team
• Has worked in a matrix-like structure
• Has proven communication skills
