Engineering Manager

A rarely seen Engineering Manager role has just become available at one of the most respected international company based in South China. Reporting to Engineering Director directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• full responsibility, oversight and accountability of Company Xiamen engineering team including product development roadmap, new technology introduction, design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• develop and execute product development roadmap and strategies, programs to upgrade in-market product quality and functionality, implement new technology so that Company products can be function, quality, cost competitive
• ability to lead, coach, and manage individuals with varied backgrounds and levels in structural engineering. Build Lead by example to inspire Company culture and core values
• lead the activities of the structural engineering team to build manufacturability into the design of our products. Ensure successful delivery of project relating to manufacturing
• partner with the global engineering team with diverse cultures. Work as a team to ensure excellence juvenile first class function and quality products delivered to customer
• execute resource planning, budgeting, process improvements for higher working efficiency and lower product development risk
• accountable to uphold Company quality standards, consistent processes. Use of tools such as CPK, PPK, PFMEA, DFM to execute and analyze issues during product development

Key Requirements:

• foreigner expert is preferred
• bachelor above, at least 7 Years’ experience on Structural engineering and minimum 3 years in management positions. Strong juvenile industry background will be great
• strong experiences on new product development. Experiences to manage teamwork of China and other region
• solid working knowledge of Stage Gating Engineering Processes, Manufacturing Design, Excellent interpersonal, communication
• fluent English
• ability to communicate with all levels of organization
• excellent presentation skills
