Operation Director (for expatriates or foreigners)

This hiring company is setting up a new manufacture facility in Suzhou. Based on a retained search we are looking for Operation Director joining this collaborative, inclusive and international team.. She or he will be expatriates or foreigners working in China.

Key Responsibilities:

• This Operation Director organizes and coordinates all operations related activities in order to produce products that meet specifications and are delivered on agreed date
• You will lead the continuous process of improving quality and standards
• You will lead the local project team in liaison with project team of Europe to realize the installation of equipment, processes, project transfer and staffing to guarantee a successful start of operations
• Direct subordinates include production, QESH, Maintenance, Engineering and Logistics, in total around 50 employees in 2025
• You will report directly into the Global Vice President Operations and work closely with Managing Director & Business Development manager China

Key Requirements:

• Considering company’s ED&I policy, this role will be open to candidates original from Europe, US, or Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Japan, and other regions of APA
• This role is open to expatriates or foreigner candidates with long-term commitment in China
• Solid knowledge of Operational Excellence, solving problems and can come up with out-of-the-box solutions
• You have experience and knowledge in an operational environment in advanced manufacture industries
• Completed BSc or MSc level study in Mechanical or Chemical engineering, or likewise
• At least 10 years of experience in a comparable role & environment
