International Logistics Analyst

Looking for a Global Logistics Analyst for a top retailer. Focusing on logistics operation and analysis

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Analysis: Conduct network analysis on cost/benefits on vendor shipments moving from an FOB to FCA basis incorporating all cost components involved from factories through origin ports
• Communication: Establishes, maintains, and maximizes effective relationships within Import Transportation, TSS, Vendors, Trucking companies, Consolidators, and origin Customs. Monitor and manage consolidator and trucking providers’ performance
• Process Training and Development: Provide training support and documentation requirements with vendors, consolidators, Trucking companies on corporate program initiatives
• Project Management: Conduct analysis and manage projects impacting the supply chain such as direct trucking, port optimization, container utilization, warehouse outsourcing…etc.
• Scheduling Appointments: Sets up and schedules meetings/appointments with vendors, ports, Customs, and Trucking companies as requested
• Office Administration: Receives telephone calls relating to Import Transportation and attempts to handle and address questions relating to Asia Import Transportation. Communicates accordingly with Headquarters Transportation and cross function teams
• Additional Duties As Assigned: Duties will assigned which may include handling/sorting mail, maintaining files, coordinating payment of invoices/bills or one time projects or routine tasks

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor degree and equivalent business experience with 3 years
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong decision making skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Continuous learning mindset – passion for learning what you need to know to be successful
• Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access applications
• Proficient in English
