Looking for Logistics Project Manager , report to Global Head of Logistics Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead strategic global and regional projects and interface with global strategic Group initiatives
- Execute medium / large scale investment (CAPEX) projects independently as required
- Manage projects with cost, and timeline control, make sire scope and deliverables are according to project specifications and the risks are controlled carefully
- Lead projects and motivate participants in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams until the successful completion on time and within budget of the project
- Use the Project Management tools (project planning / task management) to ensure project goals are achieved
- Supports the Head of Project Management in the tool-based project portfolio management
- Coordinate and execute system and/or process implementations in our L&C sites
- Represents projects and interests towards Management, depending on project can go up to Executive Committee
- Identify, implement, and lead opportunities/ logistics improvement projects to streamline flow across the entire supply chain
- Miscellaneous:
- Maintain and develop training, procedures and manuals and execute training activities for new initiatives under your responsibility
- Elaborate project specific concepts, solutions and basis for Management decisions
- Participation and collaboration in Logistics / Customization Councils and other training sessions
- Active collaboration to further develop the company Supply Chain Strategy
- Be a representative of Group Division in key R&D initiatives and lead product industrialisation projects
- Can be consulted from the management for strategic Supply Chain specific questions
- Peer-coaching of Global and Regional Project Management Specialist's
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy working environment
- Provide support for Global Quality initiatives at the group level, working with the Asia Pacific based Group Division Quality team
- Competencies are defined on a project related basis
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally within the scope of Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Process Management
- Equivalent educational background to be verified
- Must have 5+ years of Project experience in interdisciplinary, international teams and in an industrial environment
- Proven experience of 4-6 topics within the company Supply Chain Focus topics
- IT / Software:
- Word / Excel / PowerPoint
- SAP Know How (MM / SD / PP)
- BI-System
- WM / EWM
- Ability to communicate in English both written and verbally in a professional demeanor is a must
- Communication skills in other languages, in particular German or Spanish is advantageous
- Project Management (PMP etc.)
- Six Sigma (Green Belt etc.)
- Readiness for travel activities (up to 15%)
- Personality
- Creative thinking, pro-active personality
- Involved, initiative team player with high level of self-motivation
- Good communication skills
- Entrepreneurially thinking - ability to convince all stakeholders to support projects
- Must be a strong logical and analytical thinker with goal orientation who can develop and execute to completion
- Understanding for economical business contexts
