Plant Operation Director

This position needs you to locate at Thailand for 2-3 years in the short-term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and improve the all-plant operations, manufacturing, production planning, production control, material planning, quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide leadership and direction to develop and execute product line manufacturing plans that support the business needs
• Provide direction to manufacturing operations to ensure/ improve factory efficiency, reduce costs and meet or exceed customer satisfaction
• Establish manufacturing KPI and reinforce employee performance management system
• Accurately monitor production capacity of plants and forecast from Customers to balance plants capacity to fulfill production demand
• Optimize resources utilization and quality standard to ensure that mass production process capability meets customers’ requirements and improve predictability of factory loading
• Continuously develop and improve the manufacturing process and existing production schedules procedures
• Defines and develops with R&D team the design best practices ensuring product design match with manufacturing processes and establish the Design for manufacturability culture
• Establish Training system to develop and leverage the skills and knowledge of Manufacturing employees
• Foster a continuous improvement culture
• Reduce wastage and inventory
• Continue to upgrade the machineries and facilities

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years working experience in manufacturing and at least 7 years in production manager position
• Experience working in or for global Fortune 500 consumer product brands
• Good communication skill
• Positive and good problem-solving skill
• Good leadership and coaching skills
• Management experience, Lean manufacturing and 6-Sigma improvement skills
• Can work under the high stress and result oriented
• Fluent in English (writing & speaking)
