One automotive company located in Wuxi is hiring one Sourcing Manager cover sourcing, SQE and import & export.

Key Responsibilities:

• manage a team of SQE’s, sourcing, indirect sourcing and customs specialist.
• manage the proper usage of a global supplier scorecard for Asian suppliers
• manage suppliers’ capacity to support operations and global business growth.
• Manage assets (ex: tooling, machine, etc.) at Asia suppliers.
• perform supplier audits (ex: supplier business practices, quality audits, etc.)
• structured problem solving (car’s / 8d’s / etc.) with suppliers to achieve permanent RCCA
• lead the Asia supply chain team to develop suppliers’ quality, delivery and service to meet requirement and prevent any significant quality and / or delivery issues.
• feedback to leadership, GCM’s, suppliers and key stake holders as needed
• escalate and / or effectively countermeasure metrics or projects that are off track
• coordination and prioritisation of available company resources
• support corporate and Asia team’s vision as a part of Asia management team.
• execution of category strategies and special projects / ad hoc management requests

Key Requirements:

• the ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related area with seven to ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment with automotive standards
• have at least five years’ relevant experience in the fields of project management, continuous improvement or quality management
• a broad background in manufacturing processes and the ability to directly and indirectly lead and influence others is essential for the success of this position
• superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities is required
• strong command of Chinese and English languages required
• the candidate must have integrity character, a strong sense of urgency and the ability and desire to function in a team environment
