Senior Category Sourcing Manager

Looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager for a USA company

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy development and deployment to support the business success:
• Forge the sourcing strategy blueprint which guides the category sourcing team to develop and deploy the strategy, and is for the cross-functional teams to work out the relevant strategies
• Lead the sub-category owners to develop the actionable sourcing strategy with proper supplier base strategy
• Periodically revisit the sourcing strategy, in line with the growing business needs, by working with the cross functional teams and fine tune the focuses accordingly
• Ensure the success of the deployment of the sourcing strategy
• Supplier development:
• Lead the sub-category owners to rationalize the China and Asia supplier base to ensure the success deployment of the sourcing strategy
• Leverage the tier management to define the supplier base gap and drive the supplier development projects to enhance the supplier capabilities
• Supply market intelligence:
• Lead or participate in the acquisition of the supply market intelligence to fine tune the strategy deployment plan accordingly

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in international trade, business administration, etc. Professional supply chain management certificate is a strong plus
• Minimum 5+ years of strategic sourcing or commodity management experience in FMCG, Cosmetics industrials in MNC, people management experience is a plus
• Fluent in English and Mandarin by both written and oral, Excellent communication and inter- person skills (esp. stakeholder management), strategic mindset
