Strategic Production Manager

Actively contribute to the long-term APAC sourcing strategy for company, including both the development of the strategy as well as execution

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the short and long-term strategy for APAC suppliers together with key stakeholders
• Find technology opportunities for company within relevant field of responsibility (plastic, textiles, wood metals, …)
• Manage and optimize of suppliers, product quality, purchase price (total landed cost), cost calculations, production capacity, risk management, continuous product improvement, QA/QC activities/procedure, contractual framework
• Daily Monitoring and continuous development of manufacturers and their sub-suppliers
• Support product development with production insight and production methods within field of responsibility

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience within Supplier Sourcing, Production and Supplier Management
• Good knowledge of procurement skills such as negotiation, contracts, sourcing
• Experienced in project management
• Good skills for presentations and communication in English
• Can travel internationally
