Indirect Procurement Manager, APAC

Engage strongly with and be seen as a valued support and business partner to functional leaders, particularly in the marketing and digital functions where the majority of in-direct spend is focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accountability for development and delivery of the APAC Procurement Strategy, aligned with the APAC Leadership Team
• Supporting and assisting in the roll out of a key procurement and finance project, focused on developing process and strengthening compliance
• Play a key role as the indirect procurement expert in cross-functional project teams, influencing key stakeholders across the business in their purchasing decisions
• Working closely with Global supply chain teams, APAC Head of Finance, APAC legal officer and APAC risk and controls manager to understand global, regional and local requirements and ensure compliance
• Day to day management of suppliers and supply agreements within agreed parameters as per contract and in line with our dynamic and changing business requirements. This will involve weekly/monthly meetings with operational staff and other company functions both local and global

Key Requirements:

• Financial acumen is key, with budget setting and adherence paramount
• Prior experience at a senior level supporting marketing, digital and E-Commerce procurement is essential to the role. Ideally with APAC regional experience and China specific experience
• Demonstrated capability of key stakeholder engagement, relationship building and process introduction especially in the marketing, media, e-Commerce and digital sphere is essential
• Previous experience of SAP would be advantageous
• Strong language skills to be able to communicate locally with the team in China and in English to the APAC LT and wider APAC community
