A global company now is hiring one KAM role. This is a typical sales role.
This role will directly report to Sales Head and focus more on BD.
- lead in the development of electronics sales plans, strategies and budgets
- organising the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales targets for existing and new business
- identify and build up strong relationship with strategic customers to support business growth and value pricing efforts
- organise various customer conferences and presentations to support market growth efforts
- monitor and manage the sales and customer service team in their business to ensure teamwork and the delivery of total customer satisfaction
- completion of various sales reports and report new business / project progress frequently
- keep track of competitor activities and provide feedback and suitable sales strategies to win in the market
- work closely with the management team in the supply plants to ensure quality of products and on time delivery
- negotiate with customers on pricing, customer claim and other issues
- lead market research efforts (e.g. market segmentation, branding) and develop marketing communication plans (e.g. seminars, exhibitions, customer visits, etc.) to identify strategic customers to support business growth
- work with the finance people to ensure the effective management of debts and inventory levels
- identify new product opportunities to be suitable for local manufacture
An ideal candidate should have good sales skills and fluent English speaking.
- bachelor degree in engineering, materialogy or a related area
- a minimum of eight years of working experience in automotive equipment sales field
- experience working in a foreign multinational company preferably European or American
- good experience and network of contacts in the SPR sales
- strong value selling ability and new business development ability
- proven track record in sales in terms and effective sales force management for business growth
- good verbal and written communication skills in English
- person should be a team player, able to work with both sales and manufacturing plant people, independent and willing to work under pressure and could travel frequently
