A Global Firm is now hiring one Sales position. This position requires strong sales skills.
This position directly reports to Sales Head and focus more on BD activities.
- the candidate is to act as hunter to proactively identify and acquire new customers for company solutions
- serve as the main point of contact for company Asia business opportunities
- interface with Asia’s resources in sales, marketing, product management to leverage knowledge and efforts to maximise business development opportunities
- work closely with various teams/bus of both companies to ensure successful delivery of services/solutions to the acquired customer according to the committed timeline and contract terms
- produce design pipeline report on time with updated and accurate details for management review regularly
- support the Asia sales teams to create sound strategic sales plans by sales person to meet our commitments in this market, specifically focused on connectors & cable assemblies
- drive the sales of new products through the organisation by developing training & promotional materials and conducting training classes for company personnel and customers as necessary
- provide regular market analysis and reports, including regional market capacity, demand changes, industry dynamics, competition, and customer feedback
- identify new product opportunities not currently in the portfolio
- actively support the npi process and working with close cooperation with the product team drive through the sales organization to achieve the sales goals
- create and own a marketing communications plan to support marketing activities within this vertical including advertising, events, co-op plans, etc.
- write technical articles for industry publications, drive web content, and participate in other useful and effective promotional activities
An ideal candidate should have strong sales experience and have good understanding on industrial market.
- bsc degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
- excellent industry contacts and preferably a good reputation with suppliers / partners
- ability to quickly assess and qualify potential opportunities and risks
- ability to develop and carry-out effective marketing and sales programs
- excellent sales achievement and / or product management record
- travel regularly to client sites and develop strong and strategic relationship
- with entrepreneurial, strategic and creative mindset
- strong project management and organization skills
- possess good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
