Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, the Sr. Client Lead will own the relationship and work plan with one of retail clients. Their primary aim is to ensure clients are getting a measurable return on their investment.
- Design and manage the client work plan, ensuring that it reflect the client needs and delivers measurable change for customers and client profitability
- Ensure the work plan is delivered on time, to a high standard, and profitably - requiring strong collaboration with the capability / delivery teams
- Measures the impact we are having, and builds governance structure within the client to address any issues quickly and maximise the client’s return on investment
- Spot opportunities within the client that can be solved with company capability, doubling company profit from the client within two years
- “Dotted line” management of the entire client team - accountable for motivating and inspiring the client work team to deliver exceptional work.
- Manages the day to day plan with client stakeholders
- Builds strong relationships across the business - from CxO level down to store managers
- Have a background in Retail and Management Consulting;
- Knowledgeable and well connected in the retail industry;
- Have a passion for putting the customer first and will have done so time and time again in their careers;
- Typically energetic and courageous - not afraid to challenge even senior retailers if they are missing an opportunity to put the customer first, and never giving up;
- Understand the potential for data and science to transform the retail industry - and they will have ideas how to do it;
- Have a brilliant knowledge of the retail sector in China, and have relationships across the industry;
- Beside BI / Trading Marketing / CATMAN / KA / Brand marketing in FMCG & retail, Client lead in 4A agencies’ FMCG & retail group and Media tracking companies would be suitable;
- Have influenced large companies to act differently - and in a more customer led way.
