Role Purpose:

• The purpose of the role is to provide support from both technical and business process perspective to enhance Business Planning Consolidation (BPC) function. This includes developing solutions to meet the current and future needs, collaborating with internal customers and external partners and suppliers to achieve quality services delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Delivery - Ability to design, customize, configure, and test BPC processes and functionality. This for small defect management, enhancement and for larger scale project delivery
• Business Process Improvement - analyses and designs business processes and identifies alternative solutions to exploit new technologies and automation. Develops graphical representations of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision making. Assesses the feasibility of business process changes and recommends new approaches
• Business Acumen - Strong understanding and experience in business planning and consolidation concepts and methodology and ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Stakeholder engagements – The ability to work with various business and technology stakeholders to deliver business and technology outcomes
• Systems Design - applies appropriate systems design methods, tools and techniques such as predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches. Designs systems and undertakes impact analysis on design options and trade-off. Makes recommendations and assesses and manages associated risks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Proficiency in English
• Ability to deliver business requirement under tight business deadlines

Knowledge:

• Strong Technical Knowledge in BPC 10.1, integration points with other SAP ECC modules ABAP integration and customizations
• Expertise in BPC Embedded system with Aggregation Levels, Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, FOX Formula, Analysis for Office (AO) Workbooks and Custom Planning Functions
• Expertise in BPC Classic with EPM BPC Environments, Models, Dimensions (Flat/Hierarchical), Dimension Properties, Reports, Input schedules, DM packages, Security setup, Advanced Script Logic, BAdIs, Currency Conversions, Intercompany Eliminations, Allocations using Logic Script and Business Rules
• Expertise on Interfaces for sending data from BPC to ECC for P&L to CCA/COPA for Allocation/Top-Down Distribution to Profit Centre and Product, and Balance Sheet to GL for Allocation to Profit Centre / Segment, and for getting allocated data back from ECC to BPC
• Customer service principles and practices
• Continuous improvement methodologies and practices
• Emerging technology trends
• Systems development lifecycle including high-level effort estimation

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience BPC 10.1
• Experience in full end to end SAP ERP implementation projects
• Proven track record in managing complex customer relationships with the ability to develop partnerships with key stakeholders, including recognition of business concerns
• Experience working in multinational national and multicultural organization is essential
